You're the Real MVP
We've been thinking about this a lot lately. We wanted you to know something:
You the real MVP.
No really! You have never done this 8-week quarantine, mask-wearing, work-from-home, homeschooling thing before. You've answered endless questions from your kids, customers, Facebook friends, and random advice-giving people in the grocery store. You have gotten scrappy and creative with projects around the house. Like when Marcus watched a YouTube video, and he and Grandpa Unger fixed the A/C in my Odyssey last week for only $9.
You've probably been cooking more meals from home which means there is always a sink full of dishes, and you've never realized just how much you appreciate wearing real pants, going out on a date night, or a just-because Target run. This is the first time for all of us like our good friend Jill E. McCormick said on the Grace in Real Life podcast. So if no one has told you yet...
You're an incredible rookie.
Small business owners have been responding and adjusting to what state and city governments are allowing, losing their fear of COLLABORATION, and trying new ways to connect with clients and fans. They're sending customers regular emails, they're going LIVE on Facebook, and they're reaching out to Marken to help with their media needs.
Families are spending more time together, exploring the outdoors, and elevating the importance of THINKING LOCAL when they choose where to spend their money.
Thank you for continuing to support Marken and our mission to CREATE • COLLABORATE • CELEBRATE even while we're all apart – or operating at 50% here in Medina County. Your referrals are gold. Your reviews help us stand out. And most of all, your encouragement keeps us going!

I recently tried a new take on a breakfast casserole with ingredients in my kitchen. You can check it out on the blog.
