Our First Date

On our very first date 10 years ago, Marcus and I walked the San Antonio River Walk — cameras in hand. We spent the afternoon being tourists, photographing cool buildings and noticing small details. Young love. Just before everyone had smart phones and Owl City’s Fireflies seemed to come on every five minutes.

Now, a decade and few kids later ;) taking photos is still one of our favorite things to do. But like most hobbies (and even date nights), they can be forgotten in the midst of busy schedules, chasing toddlers, lack of sleep, and just life. That’s why we’re excited to host our first-ever Photographer Meetup on Saturday, March 7 at 5 p.m.

We are inviting YOU to come meet fellow photography hobbyists, superstars with paid side hustles, or the just plain curious for a time of networking, sharing our favorite tips and tricks, and then a group excursion through the streets of downtown Devine to capture photos. (It might even be labeled “scavenger hunt” just to make it even more FUN!) At the end of our excursion on foot, we’ll return to Marken to show off our favorite shots. This event is free. Bring your camera and come have some fun.
