A Trip to Doe-Re-Mi Lavender Farm

Girls’ Trip! Nana and I took baby Emi out for a Saturday morning excursion to the beautiful Doe-Re-Mi Lavender Farm in Moore. It is a hidden gem in South Texas!

Ann and Rob told us the story of how the farm began and showed us the variety of lavender and vegetables they grow as their happy bees buzzed. We clipped our own Super Blue lavender, a culinary variety. I plan to use some of it for baking!

In their shop I also snagged some handmade lavender rosemary soap (my two favorites!) and some lavender essential oil that Rob distilled just yesterday. Can’t get any fresher than that.

The Doe-Re-Mi Lavender Farm is open Fridays and Saturdays 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. through July 6. They’ll be offering evening hours soon, so stay tuned to their Facebook page.

Shout out to Shelly and the team at Magnolia Filling Station for sharing the flyer about the lavender farm’s weekend hours on their Instagram page.
